A purposely designed structural connection for hollowcore and dycore slabs. Proudly engineered in New Zealand in response to the observations and subsequent research conducted following the 2016 Kaikoura earthquake.
APPLICATIONS
The PYTHON HC facilitates the installation of a range of hollowcore and dycore retrofit techniques, including:
Steel strong backs
Supplementary shear reinforcing (Learn more)
Seismic restraint of services
Structural steel connections
Diaphragm strengthening
FEATURES
Thread only where it’s needed. Support easy installation through hollowcore voids and prevent premature failure in the slab underside
Built-in Ø30mm washers sized to resist “pull-through” bearing failure
Short pitch concrete thread for increased capacity in shallow embedment applications
Technical
Ø10mm nominal shank diameter with 240mm and 350mm standard lengths.
Ø30mm or Ø20mm washer diameters for seismic retrofit and seismic restraint applications.
Zinc-plated coating
